Jennifer Lopez is adding author to her resume with her very first book.
Jennifer Lopez took to on Twitter.com Wednesday (20Aug14) to announce plans to detail her life in a new memoir called True Love.
According to Penguin Publishing, the tome "explores one of her life's most defining periods - the transformative two-year journey of how, as an artist and a mother, she confronted her greatest challenges, identified her biggest fears, and ultimately emerged a stronger person than she's ever been".
The press release from the publishing house continues "This visually arresting publication is guided by both intimate and electrifying never-before-seen photographs. True Love is an honest and revealing personal diary with hard-won lessons and heartfelt recollections and an empowering story of self-reflection, rediscovery, and resilience".
In the past couple of years, Lopez divorced ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she shares six-year-old twins Max and Emme, dated and ultimately split from back-up dancer Casper Smart, re-signed as a judge on American Idol, and released her eighth studio album, A.K.A. True Love is scheduled to hit shelves on 4 November (14).
