Ed Sheeran has recorded an album with Rudimental and The Game.
The 23-year-old singer hit the studio with the US rapper - whose real name is Jayceon Taylor - and the British band in Compton, south west England, and the 'Nina' hitmaker joked The Game keeps telling people he rode a bike to the studio and back because he was so keen to record the songs.
He said: "I've got a whole record I've done with Rudimental and The Game which is really, really interesting.
"It was made in Compton. I got a taxi to Compton and was sat outside this studio and there was a bike next to me so he came out and saw me and the bike and was like, 'F**k man,' and we went in and did the songs.
"Then he did an interview with Westwood and he was like, 'Ed rode a bike to Compton to record and then rode a bike back.' I didn't but I'm not going to tell anyone. Although, I've just said it now."
While the flame-haired singer admitted the album will "definitely" be released, it doesn't look likely until next year at the earliest.
He added: "The Rudimental and The Game record will definitely come out but The Game is between record labels at the moment.
"He's just finished his contract and he's going to sign somewhere else so it's in that stage where you have to work out where something goes.
"Rudimental need to mix it as well and they've been working on their album. It's going to happen, just not this year."
Ed previously collaborated with his good friend Taylor Swift on her hit 'Everything Has Changed', which appeared on her fourth studio album 'Red', but he wasn't able to get any songs on her upcoming record '1989' because she recorded it so quickly.
Speaking at an #AmazonFrontRow Q&A in central London yesterday (30.09.14), he added: "We have unreleased songs but I just don't know where to put them.
"I've never really had collaborations on my albums unless it's like a specific project.
"She did that album very quickly, that was all done and dusted in about a month, so there was no time."
