'The Sopranos' star Edie Falco has adopted a baby boy.
The actress, who plays gangster's wife Carmela Soprano on the US mob drama, has been raising the infant since December, according to her agent, Richie Jackson.
Jackson says the 41-year-old star took the baby home with in days of him being born and has named him Anderson after her mother's maiden name.
Falco will raise the baby alone after she split from boyfriend Stanley Tucci - who she met after starring with him in the Broadway production of 'Frankie and Johnny' - last year.
The beautiful blonde has endured a turbulent past 18 months after she was diagnosed with breast cancer while filming the fifth series of 'The Sopranos'.
Falco kept the illness a secret while she was receiving treatment, only publicly releasing details of her life-threatening battle last August after she successfully overcame the disease.
