Beyonce has revealed she talked to her baby daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, while giving birth and felt a 'strong connection' to her little girl while pregnant.
The 'Love on Top' superstar felt a "strong connection" to daughter Blue Ivy, her first child with husband Jay-Z, while she was pregnant and claims she communicated with her child as she went into labour in January 2012.
Speaking to the March issue of US Vogue magazine, she said: "I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door.
"And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn't think about my own pain. We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.
"I felt very maternal around eight months and I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby, but it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child."
The 31-year-old beauty, who wowed audiences with her Super Bowl half-time show last week, added she feels more feminine since having a child and is more in tune with her body.
She explained: "After giving birth, I really understand the power of my body. I feel a lot more like a woman. More feminine, more sensual. And no shame."
