Hilary Duff is finding it difficult to return to work after having her son Luca, because she cannot bear to be apart from the 11-month-old tot.
Luca was born last March and Hilary, 25, admits that a recent TV guest spot was enough to show her that balancing parenting with her career is a tough business.
The 'So Yesterday' hitmaker tells Life and Style magazine: "It's hard to be away (from Luca). I did a guest spot on Raising Hope (and) I was so happy to be on a set again... but it was hard.
"I also had a day of (thinking) 'I need to get home. What am I doing away from my baby?' It's such an adjustment.
"It's a huge change and it took a few months for me to be like, 'OK, this is me now, this is who I am now, this is how I do things now.'"
The Disney star admits the drama of tearing herself away from her baby has put her off having another one for some time.
"I'm not trying to have (another) baby any time soon," she said.
