Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter is struggling with a hamstring injury and may have to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad.
Ireland have 2018 World Cup qualifying matches against Georgia and Moldova over the coming two weeks but Arter could be forced to miss both of them.
The midfielder picked up a hamstring injury in the draw with Watford on Saturday and is set for a scan on Wednesday to see the extent of the problem and will then make a decision.
He told the Echo: "I'll probably have a scan on it, fingers crossed it won't be anything too serious.
"It was very sore in the second half but I was able to get through the game. I just tried to grit my teeth and get through it. We'll assess it now."
