Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke insists he is happy under Alan Pardew after making an impressive start to life at the club.
The hitman made a club-record £27million move to Palace from Liverpool in August and already has three goals in five outings.
Benteke arrived at Selhurst Park off the back of a difficult 12 months with Liverpool where he struggled to gain regular first-team football.
However, he feels Pardew has provided him with a new lease of life and hopes to continue improving for the Eagles.
Benteke said: "I feel so happy — I feel like me again and I feel now that I can get better and better.
"Right from when I spoke to Alan Pardew for the first time, he promised me he would do everything to get the best out of me.
"He told me he believed in my ability and that he wanted me to play to my strengths.”
