Sunderland's Jordan Pickford has been tipped to become a top-class goalkeeper by his team-mate John O'Shea.
The injury to Vito Mannone has seen Pickford thrown into the number one spot ahead of schedule but he has caught the eye with some tremendous performances and recently received very high praise from France number one Hugo Lloris at Spurs.
Now team-mate O'Shea has tipped him to become one of the best in the business although he has warned his colleague that he must mature into a player who knows how to ease tension by greater control.
"Pickers has been impressive, his kicking is quality at times but sometimes he has to calm himself down because the game is going so fast," O’Shea told the Echo.
"It's end to end and we just need to try and keep control of it because that kind of adds to the tension.
"If he can control that a little bit then he is going to be a top-class keeper."
