Chelsea are reported to be lining up a swoop for Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara, who is seen as a star of the future.
The France Under-18 international is currently captain of L'OM's reserve side and the club have reportedly offered the centre-back a three-year professional contract, although no paperwork has officially been signed.
The 16-year-old, who represented his country at the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in Azerbaijan in May, has been touted for a move to Chelsea in recent weeks, with Blues boss Antonio Conte reportedly on the lookout for a long-term successor to current captain John Terry.
Chelsea are not the only club believed to be interested in the teenager, who is currently training with Marseille’s first team, as Borussia Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven have also be mentioned as suitors.
Kamara will not be ready for the Chelsea first team yet, but the Blues have clearly identified a star of the future and are keen to get him on board at Stamford Bridge.
