Manchester City continue to be linked with Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin as they consider spending £85m on new full-backs.
Bellerin has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona, but City are also in the hunt and it has been suggested the defender could push for a move to the Etihad Stadium.
The Spanish defender would prefer to stay in the Premier League and would like to once again link up with Guardiola, who he knows well from their time together at the Nou Camp.
Arsenal will do all they can to keep hold, but reports are rife that City are ready to test their resolve by launching a £40million offer at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, City are also keen on a new left-back, and would like Bellerin's international team-mate Jose Luis Gaya to join him at the Etihad Stadium.
City would have to meet the £45million buy-out clause in the player's contract, in which case Valencia would be powerless to keep him.
