Manchester City are showing interest in teenage Croatian midfielder Lovro Majer after watching him set up two goals at the weekend.
City's European scout watched Majer, 18, turn in another superb display for Lokomotiva Zagreb in a 2-0 win at RNK Split where he assisted both goals, including one with a classy backheel.
The central midfielder, who has represented Croatia at Under-19 level, has been in superb form this season, assisting six and scoring one goal himself in seven top-flight appearances - most of which have been for less than 90 minutes.
City's interest in another Croatian talent is hardly surprising given they were at the front of the queue to sign Dinamo Zagreb's Ante Coric in the last transfer window.
The club are continuing to monitor the form of Coric since the teenager rejected their advances, reportedly because he wasn't impressed by their plan to loan him out to a struggling club in Spain.
But Coric, 19, has missed the last two Dinamo matches amid rumours of a fresh fall out with the hierarchy of the club.
