England have suffered a big blow as they prepare for their New Zealand tour as Yorkshire paceman Liam Plunkett is out with an injury.
Injury has been a worry for the fast bowler over the past 12 months and his lack of red ball cricket was given as the main reason why he did not get the nod for the England Ashes side.
He did though get the call for the ODI squad but suffered a grade one tear in his hamstring in his left leg in the ODI clash with Australia last month.
He returned to the England side for the Twenty 20 clash with New Zealand on Tuesday but agrevated the injury and has now been ruled out of the remainder of the tour and will return home. England will announce a replacement over the next few days.
