West Ham have been handed a boost on the injury front as defender James Collins is close to a return after ankle trouble.
Boss Slaven Bilic has an injury crisis in his defence ahead of the crucial game with Liverpool at the weekend so the return of Collins would be a massive boost.
Collins has been out with an ankle injury but revealed on Tuesday that he was getting closer to a return.
He posted: "Been a frustrating 6 weeks with the injury, but very close to return, can’t wait to get back out there."
His availability would be timely as Bilic has doubts over regular centre-back partners Winston Reid and Jose Fonte for Saturday’s game, meaning the boss may have to rely on youngster Declan Rice to deputise if Collins does not make it.
