Crystal Palace have been handed a boost ahead of the West Ham game as skipper Scott Dann looks set to return to action.
The 29-year-old has been forced to miss the last two games against Sunderland and Everton after picking up a hamstring injury against Southampton last month.
The Eagles have coped well in his absence but boss Alan Pardew will still be hoping his influential captain will be fit and ready to return against the Hammers this weekend.
Damien Delaney has performed well alongside James Tomkins while Dann has been out of the side and Pardew has a decision to make regards who will step aside.
Dann and Tomkins played alongside each other in the game against Stoke, and there is a very good chance that will be the case against West Ham as well.
Tomkins will be desperate to play against the club that sold him in the summer and Pardew will be well aware of the fact it could spur him on even more than usual.
