Everton are waiting to learn the extent of the thigh injury star striker Romelu Lukaku suffered playing for Belgium on Friday.
Lukaku scored for Belgium in a 4-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina - but was substituted with eight minutes to go after appearing to pick up a thigh problem.
The injury did not look too serious but the 23-year-old admitted afterwards that he "felt something" before saying "we will see" when asked how bad he thought it was.
Lukaku will undergo tests to assess the problem but he is already a doubt for his country's next World Cup qualifier in Gibraltar on Monday, with Everton hoping he will be alright for next Saturday's game against Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Lukaku is the latest Everton player to pick up an injury during the current international break with captain Phil Jagielka being forced to withdraw from England duty with a thigh injury as well last week.
