Tony Pulis says his West Brom squad are "pulling together" and praised the attitude of summer capture Hal Robson-Kanu.
Albion are ninth in the Premier League table with nine points from seven games and are unbeaten in their last three outings.
Pulis is happy with the work his players are putting in and also singled out new arrival Robson-Kanu for specific praise.
The Baggies boss conceded after the Wales winger's arrival that he was not among his top targets, but Pulis has indicated Robson-Kanu is now pushing for a start after three substitute outings.
"His attitude has been fantastic," Pulis told the Express & Star. "He missed pre-season so he's well back (short) of what he can do.
"But he's really fitted in well and it's a good group now in respect of pulling together and doing stuff together on the training pitch and you can see that.
I think that was galvanised a little bit more when we went a goal down at Stoke with 20 minutes to go - the reaction they showed was absolutely first class.
"When Salomon scored the goal the reaction showed how close they are together as a group which is a good sign for the future."
