Scotland international Ikechi Anya claims Hull midfielder Robert Snodgrass has given the national side a huge boost.
The Tigers midfielder missed out on the majority of the Euro 2016 qualification campaign as he spent 15 months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
However, the 29-year-old returned to international action as he bagged a hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Malta last month.
Anya feels Snodgrass can be a key figure in helping the Scots to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and has hailed his positive influence on the squad.
"He is such a positive influence on the group," said Anya.
"It was devastating for him personally when he got such a bad knee injury. But you can see what he brings to the team and, against Malta, it looked like he was making up for lost time.
"He is always buzzing."
