West Brom are believed to be one of the clubs monitoring Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu ahead of the January window.
The Baggies have struggled for goals this season, with both Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez failing to hit their stride and boss Tony Pulis is clearly keen to boost his stocks.
Bakambu was a target for West Ham in the summer, while Newcastle are also thought to have scouted him.
The DR Congo forward is under contract at El Madrigal until the summer of 2022 and is thought to be valued by Villarreal at around 25m euros.
However, despite only recently signing a new deal, Bakambu is thought to be keen on a move to England and the Hawthorns could well be his destination.
The 26-year-old looks like he would be a good fit for the Baggies, although they may face competition for his signature from the aforementioned Hammers and Magpies.
