Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka feels his players are growing in confidence following a 1-1 draw with West Ham on Saturday.
Cristhian Stuani put the newly promoted side ahead at the London Stadium but his header was cancelled out by a piece of individual brilliance from Dimitri Payet in a 1-1 draw.
Boro remain 16th in the Premier League and just two points clear of the Hammers, who halted a run of four defeats on the bounce.
Despite only coming away with a point, Karanka insists he was pleased with the performance and has praised the attitude of his squad as they head off for the international break.
Karanka said: "I think it was really important because after three defeats, it's always important to add a point.
"We know we are new in the Premier League and we know how difficult it is to add points in the Premier League. For that reason, we are really pleased.
"We had a really good attitude on the pitch. Last week we played for just 35 to 40 minutes with that attitude. The main thing for me is to always play with the right attitude."
