Middlesbrough have fresh competition in the race to sign Leeds' Charlie Taylor with West Ham and Bournemouth now in the running.
But Elland Road boss Garry Monk wants to offer the 23-year-old a new deal to ward off interest from Premier League suitors.
Taylor is out of contract in May and has so far refused to discuss a new contract with club officials.
But Monk is ready to close a deal by offering the academy product a significant pay rise to stay at Leeds, according to reports.
West Brom, Liverpool and Middlesbrough were all keen on securing his signature. in the summer but West Ham and Bournemouth can now be added to the list.
