Brighton are willing to smash their transfer record to sign Celtic striker Moussa Dembele in the transfer window, reports claim.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation since joining the Hoops from Fulham for just £400,000 18 months ago and a number of Europe's top clubs are keen.
Dembele has been battling hamstring issues this season but has still managed to chip in with eight goals, and Chris Hughton would like him on board at the Amex Stadium.
That will be easier said than done though as Celtic will be keen to keep hold after qualifying to play Europa League football after Christmas and are likely to knock back any bids of £20million.
£30million is the reported valuation and it remains to be seen if the Seagulls will go that high.
Meanwhile, Dembele could hold out for a move to a bigger club if he does leave Celtic, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona all said to be keen.
