Barcelona will still be in high spirits from their success in El Clasico as they prepare to face Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.

Barca head to Balaidos on a four-match winning streak in all competitions, with 11 goals scored and none conceded in wins over Sporting CP, Villarreal, Deportivo La Coruna, and most recently Real Madrid, whom they beat 3-0 in their final match of 2017 to start the new year with a nine-point lead at the top of La Liga.

Celta also ended their year on a positive note, beating Deportivo 3-1 away from home after back-to-back defeats against Valencia and Villarreal.

More encouraging for Los Celestes is the memory of their 2-2 draw with the Catalan giants as recently as early December, when goals from Iago Aspas and Maxi Gomez earned a point against the table-toppers.
