Ipswich have announced that midfielder Cole Skuse has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.
Skuse would have been out of contract at the end of the season, although Town had an option to extend the deal by 12 months.
They have now agreed fresh terms with the former Bristol City player, much to his delight.
'I'd be lying if I said I haven't been thinking about it because I've got a family to look after. I've got kids at school and things like that,' Skuse told iFollow Ipswich.
'I'm not one to be badgering the hierarchy at the club and the manager, though.
'I have just got my head down and concentrated on my football and it's that that reflects on a deal being done really.'
