Charlie Daniels has assured Bournemouth's supporters that the whole squad are working hard to bounce back to winning ways.
The Cherries made the trip to the John Smith's Stadium last Sunday on the back of successive Premier League victories, having beaten Chelsea and Stoke City, and many were expecting a third straight win.
However, Eddie Howe's men produced arguably one of their worst performances of the season and were on the receiving end of a 4-1 thumping against a Huddersfield side struggling for form and confidence at the time.
Bournemouth play host to Newcastle United next on February 24 and Daniels, who has scored one goal from 24 league appearances this season, says everyone is working hard to get three points against the Magpies.
He told afcb.co.uk: 'We weren't good enough, on and off the ball we lost too many challenges and it costs you. We know it was nowhere near good enough and far below the standard we've set ourselves.
'We got some unbelievable support today, to see just how many people made the journey we can only apologise and we can't thank them enough for coming, hopefully we can put things right for them.'
