Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza says it is unlikely that he would be interested in reigniting talks with West Brom.
The Brazilian looked all set to move to the Hawthorns for £10.6m in the summer but got cold feet ahead of the transfer deadline, reportedly due to doubts over his playing time under Tony Pulis.
With the signings of Gareth Barry and Grzegorz Krychowiak adding extra depth in the engine room, Souza's decision was perhaps well founded.
However, rumours have continued about the deal being resurrected in January but although the 28-year-old admits he would like to play in the English top flight, it appears the Baggies are not his first choice.
"I always want to play in the Premier League but this was not the right moment for the transfer,” he is quoted as saying by the Birmingham Mail. "When I develop myself a little more, I can see that I move forward.
"If one day comes a bid from a team like Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, then the situation may develop differently."
