Forest Green have signed Nottingham Forest centre-back Alex Iacovitti on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old Scotland Under-21 international has made two first-team appearances for Forest and played eight times during a loan spell at Mansfield last season.
He told forestgreenroversfc.com: "The transfer has all happened quite quickly but this is the best decision for me at the moment. Forest Green came in and it was a no-brainer.
"They play good football, have good facilities and seem like a great opportunity for me."
Manager Mark Cooper added: "We have beaten off a few clubs to get him. He was one of our early targets and has got experience of playing in the Championship with Forest and Mansfield in League Two last year."
Rovers also announced that striker Christian Doidge has signed a new three-year contract at the club.
The Welshman joined from Dagenham & Redbridge last summer and scored 27 goals in 43 appearances.
Doidge scored during their 3-1 Vanarama National League play-off final victory over Tranmere that guided Forest Green to the Football League for the first time in their history.
The 24-year-old told the club's website: "I'm delighted to get it over the line so I can get fully focused on the new season.
"It's been a great journey so far and I'm really excited to progress with the club into League Two and hopefully even higher."
