Leicester have been linked with a swoop for midfielder Mark Sykes who plays in Northern Ireland for Glenavon.
The 20-year-old has caught the eye of watching scouts while in action for his club side and the Northern Ireland Under-21s this season and the Foxes are thought to be keen.
Glenavon manager Gary Hamilton has made no secret of the fact he feels Sykes and other members of his squad could make it in either England or Scotland and it may well be that the talented schemer is one of the first to fly the nest.
Leicester are not the only English club scouting him, with Blackburn Rovers also keeping a keen eye on his progress at Mourneview Park, while Glasgow giants Celtic have been credited with an interest as well.
However, it is Sykes' link to the King Power Stadium that seems to be the strongest and it has been reported that the East Midlanders are at the front of the queue for his signature, should the Lurgan Blues opt to cash in on the starlet.
