Craig Gardner has revealed his delight at signing a new deal with West Brom, keeping him tied down until 2018.
The midfielder put pen to paper on an extension on Wednesday, with his previous deal set to expire at the end of the season.
Gardner feels now is an exciting time to be a part of West Brom and he is happy to have committed himself to the club for two more campaigns.
"It's great for me, great for my family, especially how things look with the new owner coming in," he said in a video published on the club's official website.
"The players coming in are top, top players and it just shows where this club wants to be."
Gardner joined Albion as a free agent in 2014 after his deal with Sunderland came to an end and he has so far managed 73 Premier League appearances and six goals for the Baggies.
