Veteran defender Clint Hill is keen to see Rangers kick on after the international break following a positive result.
Gers picked up a 2-0 victory prior to the international break with goals from Niko Kranjcar and Andy Halliday providing the victory over Partick Thistle on Saturday.
However, the Light Blues have been prevented from building some much needed momentum due to a number of the squad heading off to represent their nations.
Mark Warburton’s men currently sit fifth in the Premiership and Hill, who joined in the summer, is keen to see them kick on and climb up the table.
The former QPR defender admitted he is enjoying the opportunity to put in the hard yards on the training ground, but is eager to get back to league action.
Hill said: “It’s frustrating when these breaks come at the end of a decent performance or result because you just want to kick on.
“With getting a win you just want to keep going, but obviously now we have a week break. We have a lot of analysis that we do and we work hard in training.
“These last two or three days have been very hard work, on our fitness and our ball work, so there’s benefits to it too.”
