Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman is training with League One club Bolton as he looks to find a new team.
The 35-year-old, who has been capped twice by England, spent well over a decade at Goodison Park but departed Merseyside in the summer along with fellow long-serving Toffees Tony Hibbert and Steven Pienaar.
Since his release Osman has yet to find employment but he spent Thursday morning training with Phil Parkinson's Wanderers, who have failed to win any of the past seven league games after starting with a four-match winning streak.
"We've just had a look at Leon this morning," Parkinson confirmed.
"He's a player who is out of contract and we had a chat with him this morning.
"I haven't had chance to speak to chairman yet, I will do later on today and we will talk further at the weekend."
