Rangers star Ross McCrorie has revealed he will always be grateful to former boss Pedro Caixinha for giving him his big opportunity.
Caixinha was axed last month from the Rangers hot-seat and has yet to be replaced at the club.
Despite the fact he is no longer in charge, McCrorie says he will always be grateful to the Portuguese boss.
"I’m thankful he gave the chance and I’ll never forget it,” McCrorie said. "He gave me that building block to build on and hopefully I can push on.
"I’ve not text him but if I see him again I’ll say thanks to him. I was grateful for what he did.
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old defender is expected to make his first start for Scot Gemmill's Scotland Under-21 side in Tuesday's European Championship qualifier against Ukraine after Hearts' John Souttar was ruled out because of concussion.
