Leicester will again be without Nampalys Mendy for Saturday's lunch time Premier League trip to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The £13million summer signing has been absent since limping off during the goalless home draw with Arsenal on August 20, but was expected to return for the game against Chelsea after the international break.
However, Mendy has rolled his ankle in training which means he is now ruled out of the game this weekend.
Boss Claudio Ranieri said: "He came back and then after half an hour he left the game. He has a little problem with his ankle. He is fit but just a little twist again and the pain is very strong. I say yes he may be fit next week but we will see."
Ranieri looks set to have midfielder Danny Drinkwater available for selection, despite him pulling out of international duty with England with a "minor groin injury".
Shinji Okazaki and Ben Chilwell are also fit despite picking up knocks playing for Japan and England's Under-21s respectively.
