Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has jumped to the defence of Vincent Janssen and says he is happy with the striker's form.
Janssen is still waiting to grab his first goal for the club since arriving at White Hart Lane from AZ Alkmaar in the summer, but Pochettino is calling for patience.
The 22-year-old showed his class in front of goal last season when firing home 27 goals for the Dutch side, but Pochettino admits it is a different ball game in the Premier League.
The Spurs boss says the striker needs time to adapt, and just like Harry Kane, he is backing him to come good and soon be among the goals on a regular basis.
"We cannot compare him with his former club in Holland. The Premier League is tough, different to the Dutch league, we are happy in the way he's working," he told reporters.
"It's true he needs to score. It happened with Harry Kane - he needs to be patient, work, adapt his quality to new club, a new league. It's always difficult and we're happy."
