Jordan Rossiter will miss Rangers' Ladbrokes Premiership trip to Inverness on Friday night as he battles back from a calf problem.
The injury has kept the former Liverpool youngster out for the last month but he has now resumed training and boss Mark Warburton hopes the midfielder will be ready to face Celtic next week.
Playmaker Josh Windass is also fit again and back in training after hamstring troubles and could be in line to face Inverness.
Joey Barton will again be conspicuous by his absence, though, after Gers extended his club suspension by another week
