Summer signing Ezequiel Schelotto is confident he will get his chance in the Brighton starting line-up sooner rather than later.
The right-back joined the Seagulls from Sporting Lisbon at the end of August and has been waiting patiently for his first start, having so far featured for just 24 minutes in total as a sub.
Bruno and Liam Rosenior currently sit ahead of him in the pecking order but Schelotto is confident his chance will come under Chris Hughton.
The one-cap Italy international says he is still working his way up to fitness but is confident he will be able to establish himself with Brighton once he gets his chance.
Schelotto told Portugese newspaper Correio da Manha: "I'm still at a disadvantage with my colleagues, trying to make up for time lost. Now I feel good, getting better and missing only having more minutes of game in competition.
"It's only a matter of time before I get in the team. I'm very confident that my opportunity will arrive."
