Robert Snodgrass has told his Hull team-mates to prepare for battle ahead of what will be a crucial run of fixtures.
The Tigers have come through a difficult run of fixtures against the likes of Leicester, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in good shape and are now ready to kick on.
After the international break Hull will play Bournemouth, Stoke City and Watford and Snodgrass says they will have to be ready to roll their sleeves up and fight.
These are the kind of games that will decide whether or not Hull will stay in the Premier League this season, and that fact is not lost on the Tigers midfield star.
"This is a run where we believe we can get something from the games," said Snodgrass.
"It's difficult when you've played four, maybe five if you include Leicester, of the top teams. We're a level headed bunch of lads, a mature bunch, and we know what to expect from this Premier League.
"When you're up against some of the best and you're down to 10 men in two of the matches, it's no surprise we got nothing from the games. It was a different story against Chelsea.
"We did well for 45 minutes but in the second half it was below our standards as a team. We know that and I feel for the lads.
"It's different to the Championship and we have to change the mentality quickly. It's been a very tough month for us but we move on and get ready for the games ahead.
"We'll roll our sleeves up and get ready for the battle."
