West Brom are expected to revive their interest in Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza during the January window.
The Brazilian was the subject of a £10.6m bid from the Baggies during the summer but despite agreeing personal terms, he decided to call off the move at the 11th hour due to fears over a lack of first-team opportunities.
However, the Baggies remain interested in Souza and boss Tony Pulis is thought to have been keeping an eye on his progress.
Reports in Turkey last month suggested contact between West Brom and Fener had been re-established and sources in England are now suggesting the deal could be back on the table in the new year.
The Yellow Canaries are keen to keep hold of him and the Black Country club may have to improve their previous offer.
