Spurs have been linked with a move for Jordan Henderson but it remains to be seen as to whether Liverpool will listen to offers.
It remains to been seen as to whether or not Liverpool would entertain offers for their captain but The Sun claim Spurs are planning to test their resolve this summer.
The North London outfit are currently second in the table and destined for a top-four finish, while Liverpool look set to again miss out on Champions League qualification as they trail Manchester City, who are currently fourth, by seven points.
The report suggests Spurs hope the lure of Champions League football could turn Henderson's head and they are planning a £25million move.
However, Henderson is under contract until 2020 and as such Liverpool are under no pressure to sell - and likely to be reluctant to sell one of their key men to a direct rival during the summer.
