Middlesbrough are set to be without Daniel Ayala, Gaston Ramirez and Victor Valdes for Sunday’s trip to Liverpool.
The Teessiders have already been relegated back to the Championship but could have a say on the race for a top-four spot when they travel to Anfield on Sunday.
Defender Ayala remains sidelined with an ankle issue and looks unlikely to be rushed back, having not featured since the 1-0 win over Sunderland on April 26.
Meanwhile, playmaker Ramirez has not played since getting sent off in the 4-0 loss to Bournemouth and he continues to struggle with a thigh strain.
Valdes is the most likely of the trio to get the nod and will be handed a late fitness test after missing over a month with a rib injury.
