Tottenham defender Kyle Walker has admitted there was no Plan B when it came to England at Euro 2016 in the summer.
The Three Lions were left humiliated by Iceland in the last 16 of the competition which saw the end of Hodgson's reign as England boss. Walker admitted they only had one way to play the game and when things started to go wrong they had no answer.
"It was 'we are going to play this way’, and if it didn't work, then we didn't really know what to do," he told reporters.
But he thinks lessons have been learned and they won’t make the same mistakes again.
"I just think we don’t need to play into their game.
"I thought probably in the summer, that’s what we did and we didn’t really have a different plan."
