Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer says he may have to consider his future in January if he does not get more opportunities.
The central defender hit the ground running when he first arrived at White Hart Lane from FC Koln in the summer of 2015, impressing when ever he was given an opportunity.
However the 23-year-old has had one or two injury problems which have restricted the number of games he has been able to play in this season.
But even when fit, Wimmer is down the pecking order, and admits he may have to move on to get more game time.
"After last season, where I played towards the end quite frequently, I'm already down on other expectations for this season," he told Austrian media.
"That (the injury I had) has taken me back a bit. It is difficult at the moment but I am patiently waiting for my chance. I try to always stay positive.
"The feedback from the club is always that they are very happy; that they see the future with me. This is very positive, but it is about the here and now."
When asked if he will have to move on, Wimmer added: "We will see what happens in the next few weeks; how much I start. We have a few midweek matches."
