Mitchell Curry and Ben Liddle have signed their first professional contracts with Middlesbrough after graduating from the academy.
Both teenagers are thought to have very bright futures in the game with striker Curry having scored more than 20 goals for Boro's Under-18s side last season.
The 17-year-old has already scored five more for the academy team this season and could soon be set for the step up to the Under-23s.
Midfielder Liddle, 18, follows in the footsteps of father Craig – who currently coaches both youngsters in Boro's academy.
Craig made 25 appearances for Boro in his playing career, as well totting up more than 250 games for Darlington.
