Toyota have confirmed that McLaren star Fernando Alonso will be available to take part in the entire World Endurance Championship.
The Spaniard is set to combine his commitments for McLaren with racing for Toyota in the mammoth endurance event, which takes place over eight different dates.
Alonso had already been given the green light to race in seven of the events although the Japanese race did initially clash with the US Grand Prix.
The two-time F1 champion’s pulling power has now seen the Fuji speedway race switched to a different date, October 14, and McLaren are happy for him to take part.
Toyota said: 'Fantastic for our Japanese fans that Alonso can also race in Fuji due to WEC date changes.'
