Red Bull have confirmed that Max Verstappen has extended his contract until the end of the 2020 season.
The Dutchman's previous contract was set to expire in 2019 but it included clauses that could have let him leave next season.
Both Mercedes and Ferrari had been linked with Verstappen but Red Bull have moved quickly to quash those rumours.
After being promoted to the senior team from Toro Rosso in 2016, Verstappen has shown his potential.
He has since won two Grands Prix and the 20-year-old insists he is delighted to agree fresh terms.
Verstappen said: "Red Bull has always shown their faith and belief in me.
"I'm very happy to commit further to them and I'm looking forward to working together to enjoy more success in the years to come."
