Thongchai Jaidee is relishing the chance to add to his wins in Asia when he tees it up at this week’s Shenzhen International.
The 47-year-old has won eight times on the European Tour, with four of those coming in Asia.
The Thai ace has secured the Malaysian Open twice, while also claiming the Indonesian Open and South Korea's Ballantine's Championship in an 18-year professional career.
Despite his advancing years, the 47-year-old has won four times in Europe during the past five years, taking the 2012 Wales Open, the 2014 Nordea Masters in Sweden while also winning the Porsche European Open two years ago.
Last year saw Jaidee seal the Open de France and, back on familiar territory, he is not done yet.
"I have been here many times and I know that China is growing golf," he told the European Tour's website. "There are a lot of tournaments in Asia, so it’s good for me to be here this year.
"I like the golf course, it’s in good condition and I’ll play the pro-am tomorrow so I will learn more about the course.
"It’s not much different in Thailand, it’s the same grass and same weather, so I think I will really enjoy the tournament here."
