Sweden's Alexander Noren is refusing to get too carried away despite his dramatic rise up the world rankings.
The 34-year-old has enjoyed a huge rise through the rankings in the last two years and is now 18th after winning the British Masters last week.
Noren has won three tournaments from his last eight starts after also claiming the Aberdeen Asset Management Paul Lawrie Match Play and the Omega European Masters.
Last week's two-shot victory lifted him into the world's top 20 for the first time but Noren claims he has more work to do ahead of this week's Portugal Masters.
He told Sky Sports: "I've tried not to put too much happiness and energy into that (British Masters) win. The middle part of my final round wasn't very good and I let (Richard) Bland and the other guys in.
"In the end I finished better than I expected and I was happy with that. I had a tremendous week but my putting was the best thing, so we are working a little bit on the driving."
