Swansea and Crystal Palace are ready to battle it out for the services of Greenock Morton winger Jai Quitongo, reports have claimed.
The 19-year-old is catching the eye of clubs south of the border after breaking into the Greenock side this season, and Palace and Swansea are said to be leading the race.
Doncaster Rovers had a £100,000 bid knocked back in the summer, but it would appear there are bigger fish waiting to pounce and the Scottish Championship club will face a battle to keep hold.
Eagles boss Alan Pardew is known to love enterprising wingers and it would appear that Quitongo's direct style and ability to take on a defender, has alerted him.
The Swans are also said to be in the hunt and already have young Scots Jay Fulton, Stephen Kingsley and Oliver McBurnie in their first-team squad.
Greenock will fight to keep hold but will be unable to turn down the kind of money on offer if either Swansea or Palace make a serious bid when the window re-opens.
