Gunners braced for Wilshere bid

Juve have long been linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Can, who will be out of contract at the end of the season and able to leave on a free transfer, but reports in Italy claim a deal may not happen.

Instead Juve could turn to Gunners star Wilshere, who like Can is also out of contract in the summer, and has yet to agree fresh term with the Gunners.

Wilshere has always spoken of his desire to stay with Arsenal, and after rediscovering his best form in this campaign, it looks more than likely he will end up penning a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.

However news of Juve’s interest could turn his head and a switch to Turin, where he is more likely to win silverware, could appeal to the playmaker.

Representatives from Juventus are reported to have been in touch with Wilshere’s agent to sound him out over a possible move in the summer and Arsenal could have to move quickly to secure his future.
