Arsenal are reportedly planning a mass overhaul of the squad at the end of the season with several regulars set to leave.
Having once again failed to mount a serious title challenge, the Gunners are said to be looking at making significant changes to the playing staff in the hope of forcing their way back in to contention.
Newly appointed head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has already begun work on drawing up a list of potential new arrivals with the likes of Mainz defender Abdou Diallo, Wolfsburg cenrtre-half Ohis Felix Uduokhai, Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri and Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir all said to be targets.
To make room for a raft of new players Arsenal will have to undergo a clear out and the report in the Daily Mail claims that Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott could be amongst those sold to make space.
Both players are unhappy with their lack of action this season and are already attracting admirers with West Ham after Giroud, while Valencia are said to want Walcott.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil appear certain to leave the Emirates Stadium when their deals expire, along with Santi Cazorla, who has not played for 14 months due to injury, while Per Mertesacker is set to retire.
Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey could also reportedly be sold if they do not agree to new contracts before the end of the campaign with the homegrown pair's current deals running until 2019.
