Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will today undergo a medical at West Ham before completing a season-long loan move.
Both clubs have been thrashing out the terms of the deal over the weekend, and after agreeing a loan arrangement, that will include an option to buy at the end of it, Hart is close to completing the switch.
Reports claim that Hart will have his medical today, and as long as there are no hitches, will put pen-to-paper on the loan deal soon afterwards, and link up with former City star Pablo Zabaleta at West Ham.
The move will suit all parties as City were reluctant to let him join a title rival, with Manchester United and Chelsea both thought to be keen, while Hart will now get regular Premier League football.
With the World Cup on the horizon that is what Hart needs to keep his place in the England side and will be relieved to have landed a move to a club like West Ham.
Reports suggest West Ham will have to pay £20million to make the deal permanent in 12 months time.
